Storybook Science Session 4 of 4

 “Storybook Science” by the Fleet Science Center. This PD series will be offered to primary teachers who will learn how to tie in science to stories. In the first three sessions you will turn a storybook opportunity into an engaging, hands-on science activity. In the fourth session, you will collaborate to design your own science activity. Through participating, you will receive each workshop's accompanying story book to bring back to your classroom.

Using Success Criteria Book Study - Introduction to Learning Targets/Intentions & Success Criteria

Become the superhero teacher you have always dreamed of! In this book study, participants will learn about how teacher clarity can significantly increase student learning and set students on the path to becoming assessment-capable learners.  Come join engaging discussions about some of the most critical elements of a teacher’s practice. Teachers will share current understanding and implementation of learning targets and success criteria and apply new learning as we embark on a journey toward enhancing lesson planning and assessment skills. There will be collaborative planning time included in each session.
