Description: EUSD Behavior Modification Series: Tier II Interventions for Struggling Students - Patrick Newton. In this hands-on professional development, participants will be introduced to our Multi-Tiered System of Support for students, discuss basic human behavioral theory in relation to their classroom, and understand how reinforcement builds new skills in emerging learners. Participants will have the ability to reflect on a case study from their own class and behavior plan using strategies they can implement the next day to improve student behavior. This PD is perfect for any teacher (Gen Ed, SPED, PE, etc.) who has asked themself, "why does that person always do that?!""Behavior goes, where reinforcement flows."Grade Levels: Preschool, TK-8 | Subjects/ Placement: All (Special Education, General Education, TREC, PE, etc.)
